Rotaract is more than a community service club, it is part of a global effort to bring PEACE and UNDERSTANDING to the world. It begins at the community level, but knows no boundaries to its outreach. Rotaract is sponsored by a local Rotary Club, which in turn, is a member of Rotary International. There are more than 5000 Rotaract Clubs internationally.
The purpose of Rotaract is to provide young men and women (ages 18-30) with an opportunity to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical as well as social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
